About us
In 1993 a group of European Medical Device Distributors joined together to benefit from each others strength and to share information about the European Medical Device market.
Together they founded the European Medical Device Distributors Alliance, an Association with a marketing office currently based in Padova (Italy).
Independent distributors combined their forces in EMDDA to offer a professional European network for the distribution of medical devices for Hospitals, in different medical disciplines.
Mission
The European Medical Device Distributors Alliance (EMDDA) mission is to source new and innovative products for the Hospital Market throughout the world and secure commercial partnership for its Distributors.
In addition, EMDDA offers manufacturers the opportunity in finding the right partners among its members in order to negotiate
exclusive distribution agreements in Europe.
